Dear Parents/Guardians:
• PHS has taken a proactive approach to graduation celebrations and for over twenty years has offered an all-night, chemical free party that is planned and hosted by PHS parents and school staff.
• Celebration Graduation serves as a fun, memorable and safe alternative to private celebrations.
• Study after study show students can be tempted to engage in risky behavior, such as drinking and driving when attending private parties.
As a result of extensive fund-raising efforts, this event is free for all Graduating Seniors.
Celebration Graduation volunteers solicit funds from local businesses, non-profit organizations, foundations and PHS parents/guardians. 90% of the $12,500 budget for Celebration Graduation comes from sources other than the School Boards.
Nearly 80% of graduates have attended Celebration Graduation, in recent years, where they participate in a wide variety of activities.
• Dance, Midnight Bowling, Fortunetellers, and a Hypnotist
• Pizza, Beverages, Burritos and Breakfast
The Celebration Graduation Committee would like to ask parents of seniors (and of all students, if possible) to contribute at least $25.00.
All monetary donations should be in the form of a check made payable to Celebration Graduation/PHS and mailed directly to:
